Executive Board
The Executive Board for the USMC 250th Anniversary Ball is a volunteer team of veterans dedicated to honoring 250 years of Marine Corps excellence. This historic event celebrates the bravery, sacrifice, and legacy of the United States Marine Corps since 1775.
Brent Haynes
USMC Veteran Aviator
Brent Haynes
Brent, a native of Burley, Idaho, served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1989 to 1995. During his service, he was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, North Carolina, and MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. Brent held the primary Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) of 6112, 6172, and 6177. He served as a CH-46E Helicopter Crew Chief and Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) with HMM-266 and HMM-262.
Brent’s combat service includes Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in Southwest Asia. He also participated in Mountain Warfare Training (MWTC) in Bridgeport, California, Caribbean Exercise Trade Winds, and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) in the Mediterranean.
His personal awards and achievements include the Boeing 1,000 Hour Flight Award, Combat Aircrew Wings, an Air Medal with Strike/Flight Numeral 2, and an Honorable Discharge.
After his military service, Brent and his wife became successful entrepreneurs, operating businesses for 20 years. Their efforts were recognized with accolades such as Small Business of the Year and the Governor’s Brightest Star Award. They sold their last two businesses in 2023.
In his free time, Brent enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Cody Cohen

Cody Cohen
Cody, a native of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, currently serves as the Chief of Marketing and Sales for Genesis Arms, headquartered in Coeur d’Alene.
Cody enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2004 and served with distinction as a Reconnaissance Marine in Charlie Company, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion. During his service, he deployed twice to Fallujah, Iraq, as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cody left the Marine Corps in 2008 with the rank of Sergeant.
After leaving active duty, Cody continued his service to the country as a contractor, training Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams, Navy Seabees, and U.S. Marines. He passed on invaluable knowledge gained during his deployments to help prepare others for their missions.
Cody transitioned into law enforcement, serving with the Coeur d’Alene Police Department from 2013 to 2022.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Cody is an active member of his community and proudly serves on the executive board for the Boise 250th Marine Corps Ball.
Mike Parks

Mike Parks
Michael Parks is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with a distinguished service record from 2003 to 2008, achieving the rank of Sergeant (E5). During his military career, Michael demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in various high-impact roles.
In 2004, during his first deployment to Iraq, Michael served with Regimental Combat Team 7 (RCT-7) at Camp Baharia as a member of the Air Support Liaison Team (ASLT). He played a vital role in providing critical air support for medical evacuations, airstrikes, and aircraft mission requests. Michael also conducted radio relay missions and solemnly escorted fallen Marines on angel flights, embodying the Marine Corps’ values of honor, courage, and commitment.
On his second deployment, Michael served as a Crew Chief with the Direct Air Support Center (DASC) at Camp Fallujah, where he was instrumental in coordinating aviation assets to support ground operations in one of the most volatile regions of Iraq.
In the final year of his service, Michael was selected for the highly prestigious role of Protocol Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) for General James Mattis at I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This position gave Michael a front-row seat to strategic military operations and high-level decision-making, further honing his leadership skills and operational acumen.
After receiving an honorable discharge in 2008, Michael transitioned to a career in law enforcement, serving as a Police Officer with the Glendale Police Department in California. A career-ending spinal injury led to his medical retirement, but Michael’s resilience and determination to serve others remained unwavering.
In 2015, Michael co-founded Agency Arms, an innovative firearms company based in Caldwell, Idaho, with his business partner, Randy Niswander. The company specializes in designing and manufacturing custom firearms for military, law enforcement, and responsible civilian use, combining Michael’s military expertise with a commitment to precision and craftsmanship.
Michael’s legacy of service, innovation, and leadership continues to make a meaningful impact, both in the tactical community and beyond.

Captain Gabrielle M. Debbins

Captain Gabrielle M. Debbins
Captain Debbins is a native of Rochester, Minnesota. Starting in 2012, she attended the University of Arizona. She graduated with Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. She commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in May 2016.
Captain Debbins assumed her current duties in Boise, Idaho as Inspector-Instructor, Charlie Company, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in July 2025. Prior to, Captain Debbins served as India Company Commander, 3d Battalion, 4th Marines from September 2023 to June 2025. There, she deployed on the Unit Deployment Program-West 25.1 to Okinawa, Japan from October 2024 to April 2025. Throughout her career, Captain Debbins served with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines as a Company
Fire Support Officer and 2d Battalion, 11th Marines as a Platoon Commander. She also deployed from May to November of 2019 with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines in support of 11th MEU WESTPAC 19.2.
Captain Debbins also served as a Warfighting Instructor and Staff Platoon Commander at the The Basic School from July 2020 to February 2023.
Captain Debbins is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Course, Marine Artillery Basic Officer’s Course, Expeditionary Warfare School Distance Program, and Maneuver Captain’s Career Course.
First Sergeant Kaleb Wagy

First Sergeant Kaleb Wagy
First Sergeant Wagy serves as the Inspector-Instructor First Sergeant for Company C, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion,
Boise Idaho.
First Sergeant Wagy is a native of Mead, Colorado. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in December of 2007 and graduated
from 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA in October 2008.
In November 2008, First Sergeant Wagy reported to Marine Aviation Training Group 21 in Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL. During
August 2008, he obtained the primary MOS of 6073, Aviation Ground Support Equipment Electrician.
In September 2009, First Sergeant Wagy orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 31, Marine Air Group 31, 2nd Marine
Aircraft Wing. During his time with MALS-31 he earned many maintenance qualifications to include full systems Collateral Duty
Inspector, Quality Assurance Representative, Work Center Supervisor, and Production Control Chief. He deployed in support of
Operation Enduring Freedom in Helmand Province, Afghanistan and participated in the West Pacific Unit Deployment Program (UDP)
to Japan.
In December 2013, First Sergeant Wagy reported to Basic Recruiting School, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA and was
later assigned to Recruiting Sub-station West Omaha, Recruiting Station Des Moines, 9th Marine Corps District. While assigned to
Recruiting Sub-station Omaha he was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and Gunnery Sergeant where he served as a
Canvassing Recruiter and Staff Non-commissioned Officer in charge.
In January 2017, First Sergeant Wagy reported for duty to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Marine Unit, Marine Corps
Air Station New River, NC, where he served in the billets as the Squadron Gunnery Sergeant and Support Equipment Staff Non
Commissioned Officer in Charge. In October 2017, First Sergeant Wagy was later assigned to MALS-29, Marine Air Group 29, 2nd
Marine Aircraft Wing and served as the Support Equipment Division Chief.
In February 2020, First Sergeant Wagy reported for duty to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One, Yuma, AZ where he
served as the Aviation Ground Support Equipment Chief. He was then promoted to First Sergeant and was assigned to Marine Wing
Support Squadron 371 where he served as the Engineer Operations Company First Sergeant. In June 2022, he executed orders to
Inspector-Instructor Duty, Company C, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Boise, Idaho; where he is
currently serving as the Inspector-Instructor First Sergeant.
First Sergeant Wagy`s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal (3rd award) and Navy and Marine
Corps Achievement Medal (2nd award).
